Yesterday, my buddy Jon took an extended lunch off of his work so he could come home to be with his wife so they could watch the Nintendo Digital Direct presentation together. He had specifically requested to get this extra time off so he could see what Nintendo had up its sleeves.
Namco Bandai's ShiftyLook has been flying under the radar for some time now. This little side project of Namco Bandai's has been developing new comics and even cartoons based off the wide library of Namco games. It's brought classics such as "BravoMan" (voiced by Yakko himself, Rob Paulsen!)
Remember that Shadowgate Kickstarter from last year? It's okay if you don't, but ever since it successfully reached its funding goal, Dave Marsh, Karl Roelofs (the original creators of Shadowgate) and their team at Zojoi have been quietly working and developing their new remastered, revisioned Shadowgate.
Been going on since Grand Theft Auto 3, so why stop now?
As someone who's been a fan of so-called "yaoi" since the days I played Final Fantasy 7 and King Of Fighter '97 as a kid, perhaps I can explain. :P
This would make for a neat weekly, or even twice a week feature on Kotaku:
It was late last night when I saw the article from Crecente and despite a dire need for sleep, I read it all the through from top to bottom. I have heard testimonies from game developers and other stories which almost seem too surreal to be real, but are 100% true. Despite not having a psych degree (I'm an IT grad),…

ZOJOI DID IT!
The creators of the Quest for Glory series, Corey and Lori Cole, have succeeded in raising the $400,000 they asked for their Hero-U KickStarter! It is now a success with less than two hours left to go!
There's only one week left for the Shadowgate KickStarter! It has to make its $120,000 goal by next Sunday, or else!

Classic adventure game Shadowgate has a KickStarter that just launched today:
